The Chandler Center for the Arts is an intimate theater and arts complex, inviting spectators to feel as if they are part of the production. Since it first opened in 1989, the Chandler Center for the Arts has hosted a lively schedule of year-round events on its main stage, which seats 1,508 people.
Every seat in the house is excellent, and not one is more than 100 feet away from the stage.
Since its inception, the Chandler Center for the Arts has been graced by high-caliber performances from a spectrum of performance categories, including ballet and dance, national tours of Broadway shows, jazz and adult contemporary musicians, classic entertainment and family-friendly events.
The city of Chandler enjoys the gem of a theater, which is the only large indoor cultural venue in the area. In 2006, the Chandler Center for the Arts was honored with the Governor's Arts Award.
Past performances and performers have included "Tony N' Tina's Wedding," "Riders in the Sky," "Abba Mania" and "The Nutcracker."
